picked a title...! for now...

so i've finally decided on a title. (now on display on my blog header, and, as everything else, completely subject to change.) i think it fits. i was thinking last night that i really need to have an actual  title for this thing, and for some reason the first thing i came up with was something to do with "soup".
(it was very late.)
i thought of the soup thing because i was thinking about how i don't have much of a theme, i just kind of put whatever i want on here and throw it all together. like soup? or like the show "the soup"? i don't know. it made sense at the time. so then i had to figure out what kind of soup my blog is. and i thought...! whimsy soup!
i love the word whimsy. my favorite "vibe" (i guess?) for any given thing is an overall "whimsical" vibe. just look at the definition and TRY to tell me you didn't smile:

Adjective:

Playfully quaint or fanciful, esp. in an appealing and amusing way.

i like the word "whimsy" better because it seems lighter, and sillier. like me. i am silly.

and then i just kept thinking up names that sounded less dumb than "whimsy soup" because i was afraid no one would get it. and thus "a pinch of whimsy" was born. (since i was falling asleep while thinking these up, i have completely forgotten all of the other contenders.)
if you like "whimsy soup" better, however, by all means, let me know. maybe i WILL make that the title!  it was, after all, the original.

also, i'm thinking about posting the short list for names for this baby of mine here pretty soon. i'm not sure i want to though, because OBVIOUSLY, i like all of the names a lot, because DUH they are on my short list. and whenever people share names, everyone alllllllways has an opinion and i just don't want any negative vibes about the names that i've already decided i like best. naw what i'm sayin? so. if people can behave, maybe i'll do it. we'll see.
